    Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park appoints new Conference and Incentive Sales Executive

    1 May 2008 - General Manager of Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park David Brook has appointed Sharon Kennedy as Tjapukai’s new Sales Executive - Conference and Incentives.

    Graduating with a Bachelor of International Business and Commerce; as well as a Masters of Marketing Management, from Griffith University, Brisbane; and since having worked in numerous tourism and hospitality organisations across Australia and New Zealand, Ms Kennedy, has gained extensive experience in a variety of sales, marketing and communication positions.

    Over the past 8 years, Ms Kennedy has developed diverse sales and marketing experience including working as the Marketing Executive for the InterContinental Hotel, Wellington, New Zealand and most recently, Sharon held the position of Communications Executive at the Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns.

    Ms Kennedy will be actively involved in various developments at Tjapukai including: business and key account development, stakeholder familiarisation, sales trips and networking opportunities.

    One of Tropical North Queensland’s most unique venues Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is the perfect place to hold special events, conferences, team building or incentive programs. Over the last 10 years Tjapukai has entertained over 20,000 corporate guests in their four unique dining and cocktail venues.

    As well as private corporate special events, Tjapukai is a favourite inclusion as a day touring option, either on its own or combined with other major attractions.
